So, what's the job?
We are looking for a Payroll Controller to join Guardio's finance team.
You will:
- Manage and handle all aspects of payroll, reporting, and reconciliations (National Insurance, Income Tax authorities), including analysis reports.
- Be fully responsible for preparing monthly salaries and providing a professional response to employees in salary matters, while collaborating with all relevant departments.
- Manage ongoing communication with tax authorities, institutions, and external auditors.
- Collect, review, and verify payroll data (attendance, deductions, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with the HR team to maintain accurate employee records.
- Handle salary-related reports and reconciliations.
- Address employee inquiries related to salary and benefits.
- Support audits and other ad-hoc finance projects as needed.

- Certified Payroll Accountant.
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll experience, preferably in a tech company.
- Highly experienced in payroll systems- Hilan, Hashavit.
- Highly experienced with ERP system - SAP is an advantage.
- Experience working with payroll service providers.
- Strong understanding of Israeli labor and tax laws.
- Advanced skills in Excel.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Quick learner with strong problem-solving skills.
- Communication skills (verbal and written), Hebrew and English.
- Availability for a part-time position (70%).
