Job Description: Payroll Specialist (UKG Workforce Management) - Healthcare Industry

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist with expertise in UKG Workforce Management solutions to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing, time and attendance systems, with a specific focus on the healthcare industry. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees, managing payroll data, and resolving discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:

  • Administer end-to-end payroll processing for employees within the organization using UKG Workforce Management and related tools.
  • Ensure the accurate calculation of wages, deductions, bonuses, overtime, and benefits.
    Process corrections, adjustments, and retroactive payments as needed.

Problem-Solving and Support:

  • Provide support to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries, resolving issues with pay discrepancies and assisting with tax-related questions.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll-related discrepancies in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing using UKG Pro, ideally within the healthcare industry.
  • Extensive experience using UKG Workforce Management

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in UKG Workforce Management solutions (UKG Pro, UKG Dimensions, etc.).

Attention to Detail & Accuracy:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to resolve complex payroll issues independently.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Strong customer service orientation to handle payroll-related inquiries.

Education:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred but not required.
