Our client offers a faced-paced environment and entrepreneurial culture and unlimited development opportunities for ambitious employees. Be responsible for servicing your own portfolio of clients with their payroll needs while you also manage the payroll team that is currently growing!
Further Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage a customised portfolio of clients and overseeing the delivery of payroll related services to existing clients
- Complete the first review of all payroll calculations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail are adhered to at all times and are delivered in a timely manner
- Liaise with clients on day to day matters and identify any potential to expand service offerings
- Calculate and process irregular payroll transactions such as redundancy and other termination-type payments
- Awards interpretation and providing advice in this respect
- Facilitate compliance with current legislation such as superannuation, Payroll Tax, PAYG and terminations
- Assist with workers’ compensation insurance applications, renewals and declarations
The Applicant
- 5+ years’ detailed payroll experience, ideally in practice with multiple clients to manage
- Strong attention to detail and a talent for numbers
- Solid experience using Xero and MYOB payroll modules
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and strong admin skills
- Professional presentation and the ability to deal with clients
- Some managerial experience is an advance for this role
