DescriptionWe are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Collection and Payroll Specialist to join our finance team. As a Senior Collection and Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the collection of outstanding debts and ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. This is a critical role that requires strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage the collection of outstanding debts from customers, including invoice reminders, follow-ups, and negotiations.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll, including salary calculations, deductions, and timekeeping.
- Review and reconcile employee timesheets and resolve any discrepancies.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide support related to payroll and benefits.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and payroll data.
- Prepare payroll reports, tax filings, and other related documentation.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll processes to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including HR and finance, to ensure the accuracy and completeness of payroll data.
- Provide guidance and support to junior payroll staff.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in collection and payroll functions.
- Strong knowledge of collection practices, payroll regulations, and tax requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll software ,MS Office applications and quickbooks
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices is preferred.
