ROLE SUMMARY

Our client is looking for a Payroll Officer and Finance Administrator to join their growing team. This role will involve processing corporate store payroll, employee onboarding, and offboarding processes. They will also process invoices for payment and create accounts receivable invoices and supplier invoices for payment by department. In addition, this role will also journal weekly sales and conduct bank reconciliation on the point-of-sale system, as well as reconcile daily cash takings.

 

WORK SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Australian Eastern Standard Time (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

 

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

 

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding process for all corporate store staff (from 16 corporate stores)
  • Process corporate store payroll and issue weekly payroll
  • Manage and process journal leave accruals weekly
  • Process monthly payroll tax lodgments and tasks
  • Process superannuation quarterly
  • Process end-of-financial-year tasks (annual payroll tax lodgments, WorkCover declarations, PAYG finalizations)
  • Manage and respond to employment packs and payroll inquiry inbox
  • Maintain and update current employee data including visa checks and requirements
  • Maintain all corporate payroll data in payroll platforms
  • Update corporate profit and loss for weekly review
  • Process invoices for payment and create accounts receivable invoices and supplier invoices for payment by department
  • Journal weekly sales and bank reconciliation to the point-of-sale system
  • Reconcile daily cash takings
  • Conduct royalty reconciliations of sales results for the store network
  • Prepare month-end reconciliations and journals with guidance from the senior accountant and senior finance manager
  • Maintain and manage key financial registers including supplier lists, bank account registers, leases, and insurance listings

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor’s degree in the related field
  • Experience in time and attendance platform
  • Xero and NetSuite experience preferred
  • Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 applications
  • Experience in a multi-client environment
  • Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
  • Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
  • Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation
  • Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
